Rural Hall Fence Installation

US 52 runs north out of Winston-Salem and reaches Rural Hall right about where Forsyth County starts to run out. The fence work here reflects a town that has been slowly absorbing the farmland around it. In the older streets near the town center you get modest lots, established trees, and neighbors close enough that the fence line is a shared decision. Push a mile out in any direction and you are on a couple of acres that used to be a field, where the question is where to stop rather than where the line runs.

Both jobs are worth doing well, and they call for different things. North Forsyth ground is the same red Piedmont clay as the rest of the county, with the same habit of holding water instead of shedding it. On the more open properties up here, that combines with wind that has nothing to slow it down. A tall solid fence catches every bit of that, so on exposed runs we tighten post spacing and go deeper on the footings rather than pretending a standard layout will hold. Ice storms test the same joints from a different direction, loading gates and top rails until whatever was set carelessly gives way. None of this is exotic. It just has to be built into the plan rather than discovered afterward.
